Did Cardinal Center lose the SCTP National College Championship? (Correction by Candy)

I don't see it there. Do you? It seems like FG is at these events. I don't see SCTP College Nationals at the CC.

 

The “Collegiate Clay Target Championships” are
March 15-21 at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio TX.

If you research, "How long has the COLLEGIATE Clay target Championships been at San Antonio" it will say nearly 25 years.

The BIG event is still at the CC.

I'm not going to post the link because there are a few people that would love to jump on that, BUT, here is a copy/paste I found on their website.

As I said, search "SCTP EVENTS". When their site comes up, scroll down to JULY.

 

The one at San Antonio was ACUI only. ACUI has been there for 25 years. The big National SCTP College Championship was at the Cardinal Center in the fall. Family guy has posted pictures of it on this site.

It looks like SanAntonio will have the CC's SCTP College Championship usually held in October. I am guessing they will be combined at San Antonio. It isn't listed on the CC site.

While the inaugural joint ACUI/SCTP championship occurred around 2023, the venue has hosted the collegiate national championship event for over two decades.

 

The SCTP College Championship came to Ohio when the SCTP got abandoned by Illinois. Family Guy got the pictures.

So which shoot is happening in San Antonio in March. Must not be the "Collegiate National Championships."

Copied from the SCTP website, it looks like the CC hasn't had the Collegiate Clay Target Championship since 2021

They have and still do have the National TEAM Championships, but that is a different shoot.

 

The Cardinal center has sctp regional Mother’s Day weekend sctp nationals in July and acui collegiate in October

 

Sorry I am late to the conversation. Candy from the CC reminded me August '25 the SCTP National Championship was in October at the CC. I told her I couldn't make it to take pictures.

I think ACUI and SCTP claimed the same Championship name. Combining shooters may have been a good idea. I will check with Candy to get the scoop from her.

 

Candy said SCTP Nationals was held in July and ACUI Collegiate was in October.
