I am considering buying a gun with a 750 bore. Is that too big?

No difference. I've shot a .750 at 20°.....I talked to kolar at the state shoot and he told me his hunting gun is .770 ...he said you don't have problems until you get to .800.

No problems in sub freezing with my 750 kolar

  4. It depends on the shells you are using. If the wad seals well you do not have any problems. Rio's that worked well in warmer weather gave me some very strange sounds when it got really cold.

I never had any problems with a .750 bore shooting in 15 to 20 degree weather since 2010. I don't store my ammunition in the cold .
