I have owned everything from a Ljutic Dynokic to Browning BT-100 to BT-99's but never an Unsingle as my main Trap gun . I am only 1.5 hrs drive from Joel Etchens guns and they sell their Signature Beretta 687 Silver Pigeon III Deluxe in a Unsingle only or you can buy the combo . Currently shooting a BT-99 with adjustable comb and want to move up , the Etchen Unsingle sells for $4700.00 .

Last summer I shot my friends TriStar Turkish made Unsingle and did fine with it , appeared to have less recoil and with the high rib target acquisition was much better and I like the more straight up shooting posture .
Anyone using an Unsingle as your main singles and handicap gun , any canting issues ? I am not crazy about the look of a Unsingle but for me it is about comfort and breaking more birds . Thanks

...the best buy is a good, clean well cared gun..one that has been taken of and not abused or altered in negative ways like so many trap guns are, .get more gun for the $.......under barrels get more inline to the shoulder seems to help with recoil..also helps quicker visual of the target .lots of opinions on this subject....(..joel is good guy to do business with)

I am hopeful about visualizing the target quicker with my old eyes , it was between a Krieghoff KX-6 Special and the Beretta , think I'm going with the Beretta and will save about $3500.00 . Thanks

I’ve shot an unsingle browning 725 for a lot of my shooting career, shot an mx15, another higher ribbed 725 unsingle and now a KX6 Special. I have enjoyed them all and I’m sure you would enjoy any of your choices. When looking at the Beretta, be aware of the barrel regulation as they have been questionable in the past. The KX6S I would have you be critical of the roll over comb. Some guys love it, others can’t do it. I couldn’t do it

KX 6 special has a much nicer trigger assemble in my opinion. Love the roll over comb. At our age you can't take it with you. Go for the best.

I was at Dawson's in Ohio last year only about 1.5 hr from there also and held up a KX-6 Special and it came right up perfectly didn't know at the time even what a roll over comb was . Should have bought one last year they were $ 7600 OTD price . Etchens having 2026 coming in the Spring ,new price is $8200 plus tax . so a $600 increase in one year , maybe the tariffs ?

I used to shoot an Infinity for singles & caps--now I'm shooting a K80 Parcours for everything-I don't see any difference when using the bottom barrel of an o/u vs an unsingle

I hear that a lot no difference in shooting an O/U compared to a Unsingle . I do know when I shot my Citori O/U I see the bead and the top barrel and with the few Unsingles I have tried all I see is bead and rib , maybe just me , I will have to study that one , but logic tells you it should be the same .

I know what you mean about selling one gun after you buy another one.
I sold a Wincheater model 12 after I bought a Brauning BT ninety nine. Then I sold that after I bought my first Parazi MX eight.
I did borrow and shoot a YouDick mono for a while.

And I’m still waiting for that info

    No I won't.
If he sends it I won't have to. And if he doesn't, the Administrator will do his thing and then, again, I won't have to wait.

Sorry I misunderstood , I sent the same guy that is selling his KX-6 a PM and gave him my e-mail and asked for pics and his price
he stated he was going to post for sale on the forum , I will look for it then in the for sale section .

Checked the for sale section I see one for sale with a RAD recoil system , asking $5800.00 which is a good price but I don't like the RAD systems .
Called Jaqua's Fine guns in Ohio he has four of them from last year I think then he was asking $7600 he now wants $8500 selling at 2026 new price and assuming there are some tariffs in there . Joel Etchn's in Pa selling the new KX-6's for $8200 , so $5800 is a good price .
