The last Sunday of the Ohio gun season Dec. 7, 2025 Ann shot a large deer that was still in velvet. I say DEER because it had both male and female outward sex organs. It was very fat and dressed over 200lbs. The nuts were not there to be seen but might have been in the fat that was around the shrunk bag.

The deer was either a hermorphite or what I think happened it had been chemically casterated. I researched chemical casteration on AI and had my eyes opened. I think that the large deer die off in North West Ohio last year was really from either the Ohio DOW or the Federeal government tried to spray the deer to sterilize them and that is what caused the die off. We were a test aera.

So if the deer is a hermorphdite the odds of that are 1 in 1,000,000. We saved the guts called the Ohio DOW and asked them to test the deer. Not only did they say NO need to test the deer they weren't even interested in looking at it. This deer is something that NO ONE I no has ever seen and the Ohio DOW wildlife biologist's aren't even interested enough in it to come look. What does our hunting money go for. Wasted, what do they not want to find out, or better yet what do they know and what are they hiding?

I guess looking at where the dollars go that is not a priority? Me on the other hand would be curious.

Too many questions, that they don't want to answer, come up if they investigate this animal.

The taxidermist mearsured the deers girth it ws 46 inches, according to his chart the deer would have a live weight of about 300 lbs give or take and a dressed weight of 233 lbs. The deer also had a neck of 16 inches, not large for a deer of this weight. Another oddity was the neck hair was fuzzy and not deer like at all. I checked to see if Farm Chemicals could cause it and AI has given me a lot of info. The west bend news in Antwerp Ohio is our local paper and they were on last years supposed EHD outbreak so I sent them an op-ed that I'll find out if they will print. If they do I'll let you know.

At the end of the day, you’ve got a deer that’s literally one in a million. The DOW’s lack of curiosity is their loss. It reflects a disconnect between field biologists and the agency’s front-line staff, not necessarily a cover-up.

But man, what a story. That’s the kind of hunt you’ll be telling for decades. However it happened, that deer lived a strange life, and Ann took a truly unique animal. However it came to be, that’s a trophy in more ways than one.
