Do scammers ever get caught.

    I was wondering if anyone who ever got scammed got their money back or did the scammer get arrested ?

    A good friend of mine got scammed on a gun deal for several thousands of dollars. Did a wire transfer. Was lucky enough to get most of it back. Scammers have gotten so sophisticated these days a person really has to be careful. Then again some are blatantly obvious. A $20,000 K80 for $5000. That's not a deal. That's a scam. I doubt if hardly any get caught.

    Had a deal on a Krieghoff. fake driver's license that fooled my local police. Fake FFL license to send the money to. What saved me was -- FFL Easy Check--FFL was stolen, contacted the real FFL holder to deal with it.
