I will have the Club open from noon to 5 pm on Friday, Dec 12, for practice.

 

Do not miss this one if you like to shoot for money. She will be top shelf at a top shelf club. I would suggest you presquad.

 

Due to overwhelming response to pre-squadding for the Dec. 13 Calcutta at Williams County, we are limiting the event to 30 squads. We currently have 27 squads pre-squadded. We will shoot 2 banks, even squads one bank, odd squads the other. You will shoot 2 traps, 50 targets total, then once every squad has shot their first 50, we will flip banks and shoot the second 50.


Auction starts at 9:30 sharp, club will be open Friday the 12th from noon to 5 pm, for practice and taking entry money to lessen the lines on Saturday morning. Pay window will open at 7:30 am on Saturday.


With this many squads and short daylight hours, several squads will finish under the lights for the last 50. Lights have been checked out, adjusted, and are ready to go. We will have extra porta-johns on site the day of the shoot.


A reminder that you need 1000 ATA registered Handicap Targets over the past 3 full target years, 2023, 2024, 2025, and incudes targets shot this target year, 2026. If you do not have the targets, you will shoot from 23 yards.

ATA 26-27, -3 yards

ATA 23-25.5, -2 yards

ATA 19-22.5, -1 yard, 19 yard minimum.

Penalty yards for last December’s top 3 scores, 2 yards top score, 1 yards second score, and .5 yard for 3rd score.


If you have a full squad pre-squadded and have not notified me of shooters and posts, please do so as soon as possible so we know if we have any openings.

Boy this is a real head scratcher! A wonderful trap club in the middle of a northwestern Ohio winter holds a 100 bird shoot and draws more shooters than half the ATA State shoots in the country! No All American points? What could possibly be attracting all these shooters? Do they have slot machines at this club? I wonder how many ATA officials will show up to find out what their secret is to attracting shooters? Do they award flashlights to the six place sub senior junior lady vets? What could it be?

Some info for the Dec. 13 Calcutta:
We are full, I have a few on waiting list for cancelations. We will not be able to accommodate walk-ins that day- sorry.
Club will be open Friday Dec. 12 from 11:30 to 5 pm for practice and pay window. No food available on Friday so plan accordingly.
We have a lot of snow at club, fields have been plowed, and parking off parking lot area has also been plowed.
Club opens 7:30 am on Saturday, auction starts at 9:30 am. I will post a bid sheet later next week so you can review shooters. Minimum bid $10 increments, shooter has opening bid at $20. Be ready to bid- we need to sell a shooter every 30 to 45 seconds when possible. Buyer gets 70%, shooter 30%.
2 WILD CARDS sold first. Please- no payments for Calcutta until auction is complete- we can't track the sale if we are processing payments. Buyer's name needed for each shooter auctioned.
We will run 2 banks of 2 traps, you shoot 50, when everyone has shot 50, we will flip banks and shoot 2nd 50. Squads 1-6: pay for your Calcutta purchases after you have shot 50 so we can get you to the line faster.
Shooters need to verify your yardage, earned yardage from Dec. 2024 Calcutta applies.
Practice Trap open all day- if you have a gun malfunction that can't be fixed immediately- make up on practice trap.
If you have not pre-squadded, you can be put on wait list.
If you have pre-squadded and can't make it- PLEASE NOTIFY ME.
