I first met Ken probably about 1960 and I have been privileged to share so many squads and so many great memories with him. Back in his Remington days it seemed like when it came to shoot there was quite often one more 1100 to quickly repair. Not only was Ken a great squad mate, he was a very good trapshooter and is even a better friend. Hopefully Dirk, Rick, and I will be there.

We had a great Ken Berger Memorial shoot today at the gun club!

Dirk Meckstroth dominated the field, breaking an impressive 293/300 to win the High Overall.

Craig Bonham smashed plenty of targets and won the Singles/Handicap with a 195/200.

Dave Berlet perfected the Singles with a 100/100.

Josh Lickliter punched half a yard and took the Handicap trophy with a 96/100.

Brad Alfrey doubled the breaks and broke a 94/100 to claim the doubles.

Congratulations to all of our trophy winners, and thanks to everyone who came out and shot! Hope to see you at our Card Shoots beginning October 19 and our birthday celebration Calcutta on Dec. 14!
