Does anybody shoot a release for games trap, skeet, sporting and hunt with pull triggers? I have picked up a bad flinch for trap. Not 5 stand or sporting though.
A personal choice, unless you are at the point of shooting a release or not shooting. I know a young man that started shooting with his Dad's release trap gun. He went up through the ranks very quickly. OTOH, I know folks who have shot a release for some time and still have "oopsies" on the trap house and on pull cords. YMMV.
On most guns with a release trigger, if you pull the trigger and for some reason you decide not to shoot, just open the action and it will reset the trigger.
I tried that for duck hunting with 3.5 inch shells in an auto and it was like running a bump stock ,with the recoil so I had to change triggers in chest deep water ,it would just empty all 3 before I could get off the trigger
