POLL - Predicting the 2025 Grand American Handicap Attendance at WSRC Sparta - POLL

What will the attendance be for the big shoot? Recently it hasn't been very BIG. The President of the ATA stated in writing that there will be close to 5,000 shooters at the Grand. Most go to shoot the GAH.

What say you? 4,000 plus?

I can’t see there being anywhere near 5,000 shooters in the GAH.

They will have 2500 shooters all week.

The GAH will again be less than 1900.

 

I wasn't the only person to pull out early, seen others as well. Don't know their reason, mine was due to the heat. Just wasn't fun, Imagine if this could be held in a location more central to the majority of the ATA shooters, in a cooler climate. Offer prizes worth shooting for ( remember shooting for a new Jeep) in a gun friendly state and maybe we could see numbers above the 2,000 plateau we seem to have reached at Sparta.

 

However many are there they will be shooting with their friends, eating good food, ice cream and having way more fun than guys sitting on the couch whining and moaning about the Grand in IL. like they have been doing for the last 20 years. Get over it.

 

The ATA spent tens of thousand of dollars with a research team. A poll was sent out. The ATA members said we wont go if you put it there. It's time you got over that Lockingblock. We spent our money else where.

 

All my shooting friends quit going when that “We know better than the members” bunch decided to ignore the poll they sent out.

The few people that I know that DID go to the place in ILLnews once said the restaurants sucked.

The only moaning you will hear from me is when someone says that White Elephant they built in the middle of BF nowhere is just a wonderful place to meet friends and eat ice cream.

And from the PATHETIC number of people actually entered in the GAH I would say I’m not the only one to feel that way.

Even giving FREE targets to the SCTP kids couldn’t get them to go back to that place.

I’ll bet there was a whole lot of moaning in gipson’s office the day he read that email.

 

SDS ( Sparta Derangement Syndrome ) is alive and well.

 

Lockingback....The SCTP shot there more than me.

Amazing statement right? Why should shooters.travel 9 hours and pay for targets when the SCTP wouldnt take them if they were free. We would have to be derraneged.

 

It sure is! Imagine how deranged a person must be to state there would be a 40% to 50% spike in shooters attending this year vs the previous several years. S.D.S. on full display!
