ATA President David A Rhodes, Kansas, recently said in an interview to expect nearly 5,000 shooters competing at the Grand.

They always use the entries number for the entire week, to make that shoot at that place look as if it WASN’T THE BIGGEST MISTAKE they ever made.
If they get HALF that number actually shooting in the GAH event I’ll eat this phone.

winston used to try the same thing. When I told him that my local club had 100 shooters entered in all three event for the day that didn't mean I had 300 shooters.
