Looking forTMX Bowen release parts

Looking for someone who works on Bowen releases? my trigger sometimes sets butdoesn't fire. I never noticed this indent in the bottom of the hook and flattened part until it started acting up. Picture attached.

 

Bowen is still in business, 2nd generation, or send it to Phillips in TX and it will be fixed correctly... Don

 

T hat is one of the flaws in MANY release triggers. The bottom of the hook WEARS on the t h sear leaver and at a minimum changes the timing. YOurs is just hanging up occasionally. Solution? YES! LUBE IT! Lightly with simple wheel bering grease or similar. DO NOT GOOP it up! T his is a rule of thumb for all sear lever/hook designs. Allem corrected most with ROLLER releases. But grease will solve your issue. Every couple of weeks get a smidge of new lube and it will not hang up nor wear pr ematurely.
