Its a shame that the ATA which has Millions of $'s, doesn't provide all clubs with AED's, lots of clubs are located miles away from EMT's, A shooter passed away @ the Georgia state Shoot, the Silver $ doesn't have an AED-
I have my own and have it in my car when I'm shooting & I alert my shooting buds to its location

We bought one for Kingen Gun Club. I believe the larger shoots should have one.

Next time you see a AED box, open it up and check the inspection tag. All ours have a tag you check of for monthly checks - last battery change - pad replacements dates -Will shock you how many are hung on a wall and never checked.

Most of the clubs in the New England area that I have shot at have them. My home club just got some and they use (I believe) Cigna for our first aid kits and now the AED's to be checked on a regular basis. If the wall box is opened it sends a message to the company and it will be checked.

Most have an alarm on them that beeps if and when the battery is too low.

Clubs that have employees must offer training. Volunteer clubs don’t have that luxury. AED’s are not particularly hard but they are not just peel & stick.

Yeh, thought there was something wrong with my new car, heard a constant beep, it was my AED telling me to replace the battery
