To anyone curious, Jere Irwin has decided to close Ljutic. Pressure due to Washington state’s new FFL requirements going into effect.
wonder if any smiths will continue serving them afterwards? maybe a buyout like winchesters custom shop was bought out?
Problem with aftermarket, specialty made parts are often much higher price than the factory with all the jigs and specks the factory has. Can keep them going, but will cost you more.
im fairly sure he already had them… at least the parts for the oddball Ljutics the factory wouldn’t even service
Last year, Phillip went completely through my Spacegun; replacing the main spring, tuning up both pull/release triggers, and tightening up my stock while glass bedding it also. Total cost was $200, including shipping from Washington State to Texas. Fuel to drive from my house to Yakima, IF Ljutic was open would have been $100. I believe Ljutic repairs are securely in good hands with Phillip, and like usual, you'll be treated better than you deserve!
