I have a friend with a 366 press. He bought used. He said he was having a problem with powder and shot drops. He said it looked like when the bar holding powder and shot was in position to have powder and shot dropped in it the holes didn't line up. The charge bar would not be fully open for powder and shot to drop in it.
I'm not familiar with this type loader but would think when the traveling bar would return so the openings for powder and shot to drop in would open fully to accept powder and shot.
I would think there would be away to time the bar so holes are lined up.
Any info would be appreciated. Thx

I have never heard of this problem. One possibility is that the charge bar and the bottom plate are not installed properly. Plenty of info on Youtube. I would look at that first.

Loosen the two bolts at the bottom of the charge bar cam. This will give him some adjustability.

Make sure the dot indicators on both gears are lined up, if they're not the bushings won't travel the full distance.

Are you thinking of a Ponsness or a 366? I have never seen dots on a 366.
