Just to give some perspective - I've had a Beretta 391 since the first year they came out it has a parallel comb see the same site picture with either gun 60/40. My 391 has 10s of thousands of rounds through it never missed a beat just, incredible !

Bought the gun with the stocks on it - a dealer was selling the gun out of an estate, I may have shot the gun two or three times no more than 4 or 6 boxes of shells total. I took the original o/u barrel and had Briley put choke tubes in it and put it on another k32. This barrel came as combo with a San Remo I sold to a shooter from New York last week he didn't want the single barrel, when I showed him pics of my San Remo he jumped on it.

To me it looks like an old Bishop stock.

Sorry to confuse some of you with the first set of dimensions posted it looked like I had them reversed but when I shoot clays over my shoulder using a mirror that's what the numbers look like. LOP 14-1/4".

Photos of dimensions aren't useful (or correct); lay gun on rib on a flat with mid rib off to side and measure drop at comb (DAC), drop at Monte Carlo (DAMC and drop at heel (DAH) from surface of flat surface. Also, photo of BOTTOM of grip cap, please. Interested but need correct information for buying decision. Bore and choke dimensions would also be helpful. Thanks.

Joe. Show us the FULL GUN. Not just parts. That way we can judge the DAC. Assemble it please

Hope this picture clears up the issue on the DAC. There was a reason why while I was working at Adam's gun shop in my high-school years I invented the adjustable comb- I saved my money and bought a Charles- Daily 20 gauge o/u for $225.00 (3 months pay) it had too much drop and thus I invented the adjustable comb - more than 40 years before the industry figured it out I then realized the same principle applied to rifles. While on the Marine Corps rifle I built up my rifle comb with fiber glass a first for the corps. Except for my classic rifles and shotguns nearly every rifle/shotgun I own has a adjustable comb.
Bcause no two people/shooters are built the same - thus the LOP, DAC, DAH etc is BS ! I've had guys not buy a gun because the LOP was a 1/4" short - I guess they never heard of a spacer. Years ago while taking a skeet shooting lesson from an All American shooter this issue came up he said see my ELL I called Beretta and told them it didn't fit ( Beretta sponsored shooter) they said put an adjustable comb on it. See a picture of Annie Oakley she didn’t know anything about DAC etc. Proper fit just might take an adjustable comb and or a spacer.

Can't get answers from last post. GLWS. Any astute shooter would want the same information.

10.4 Don't need any tool to measure (other than tape or ruler, as described above) LOP, DAC, DAMC, DAH. Ultimately, buyer needs to know the two most important dimensions which are LOP and DAF (drop at face).

My only tool is my wife. She holds the shotgun upside down on the rib on the dining room table and I measure the distance at the front of the comb, the middle or face of the comb, rear of comb and then the heel. With these, along with LOP you give a buyer what he needs or wants. You don’t need a specific tool.

Yeah an extra set of hands would be helpful - my friend and housekeeper will be in on Monday, help is on the way. I've sold couple dozen guns on this site, recently sold two Devaults and a couple barrels, great site run by nice people. This week sold a San Remo to a shooter who saw this ad on American Trapshooter. The DeVaults had adjustable combs and people still wanted to know what the DAC and DAH was ?? Not sure what all the fuss is about this gun is being sold as is - if it's not what a shooter wants don't buy it.

    Thanks for looking,

    Joe

Thanks for looking - at this point the gun is no longer for sale. Too nice to sell for $3500.00. It's got a nice warm corner in my safe.

Thanks for playing along with this episode of "what are the basic stock dimensions of a shotgun I have for sale"? The answer remains a secret.

The seller decided to keep it. I marked the title No Longer Available.

That SHOULD have been the end of this thread.

From the top of the For Sale page, 4th sticky down, 2nd line.
