One of the worst things that can be done to a BT99 is to leave it cocked. The main spring will take a set and dramatically increase the lock time. A factory music wire spring is continually degrading, loosing power and increasing lock time. Our chrome silicone hammer spring will give thousands of consistent cycles. You can actually hear the decrease in lock time when you install one of our springs. If you are missing some targets that your thought you were right on, it is most likely a slow lock time that is sneaking up and robbing you.
Our kit also includes a chrome silicone top lever spring that will tighten up the locking bolt to barrel interface.
