    Hello all,
    To answer some questions,
Length top single: this is a 30in along with 30in O/U
Who made the top single: Laib's Gunsmithing Spicer MN.

Why did I do this? I like the fit of the gun, I did change to a Falcon Strike recoil pad as well.

Sweet ! Can I ask why you went with a 30” instead of the standard 32”- 34” ? Looks fantastic by the way !!

    Max Trap,

Simple the O/U was the gun I bought Used. Did not have a option.
Then I was looking for Single barrel trap gun, and Long and Short of it, I like the wood, fit, and finish of this gun
so I thought I would look for a donor gun, (Hard to Find )
So Gun broker search yielded a 30 in barrel or 28 in. So opted for the 30 in.

It was New Old Stock that a Gunsmith was selling, That ,yes needed to be fitted to the gun you have.
If I could find a 32 or 34 in that would have been fine, Just could not wait for ever to find one.

I think it will work if I do my part ..... fingers crossed.

You made the right choice in going with the 30 inch barrel! 32 inch Model 3200’s are rather scarce and too valuable to convert into a single and they never made any 3200’s with 34 inch barrels.

I was not really sure I could pull it off with the work involved and finding the right Gunsmith, Major praise to Pat Laib and his love of 3200 's.

I was stuck looking at the Barrel and I wanted to keep the gun as original as I could, and thought about a Unsingle - and owned before- but the barrel had come with a rib installed from the factory.
So rather then make it a more involved job then it needed to be just went with the top single.
To me it looks like the right choice.
Maybe we will meet on the range some day, one thing will be for sure its one of a kind.
