    Wow. Digweed is in a rare class. We need to build a 130 yard line.

    Trap 2, just because someone breaks a target at a far range does not mean that he can consistently do that.
    I'm sure you've patterned your gun at a range where the pattern looks pretty thin. 60's yards on paper to me looks like you'd lose ½ your shots taken at that range.

    Dan I have seen that video before, he explains how to break them, on earlier shots he took 2 shots., not the same video, I wanted to hear his video in cheating, dang this computer has no sound, it's not mine, its a laptop.

    N1H1 could not handle competitive targets, his gun has limits, and pointability.

    You do not know how large shot performs, I patterned 1 oz #5s at 80+ yards on the side of a barn using my BT-99 32 grs 7625. It amazed me on how tight it was.

    I consistently break 80 yard targets using 1 1/8th oz #6s w/ 35 grs Longshot, Rio Hull, Rio Primer, windjammer wad, 1500+fps. I never use more than 1 1/8th oz.

    On that Video Mr. Digweed never missed. He was shooting 1 1/4 oz #5s Black Cloud Shells
    I saw the box, did you even look?

    How consistently do you break 80 yard targets? 90%?

    He did not miss on the video. I do not believe the narrator ever said we saw all the shots,, nor that "he did not miss." He described not moving back until he had broken a clay at the present yardage. His challenge was to break a lot of them. A long-yardage trapshooter's challenge is to break all of them. George is clearly a fine fellow as well as the best shotgunner in the world, and the audience clearly was behind him. I was particularly glad to hear him account for part of his success as being due to the "hot, warm day" leading to ideal conditions."

    I do believe, however, he was shooting UK's Gamebore "Black Gold" shells, not our "Black Cloud" brand.

    Based on the above information would N1H1 consider changing his theory that our present shotguns are maxed out at 27 yds.

    Nobody said our shotguns are "maxed out" at 27 yds. Does anyone here read anymore?

    You can average 90% at 80 yards, you must have dominated the 27 yard line back in the day?

    Dr. , re-read what he said. It is not the same as saying even most targets can't be broken at longer distances.

    Let's see Hap's test at distances with a spinning target that is not moving laterally. That might give an indication if it could be done.

    Gary, What is your brand of shotgun, choke tubes and has it been customized?

    135 1/2 yards? How did you arrive at that distance and was it was from shooting clay targets. How many thrown and how many broken?

    Longshot dominates the best shooter on TS in this day. Have you made the pilgrimage to see The Brick?

    Not sure what the Brick has to do with claims of 90% at 80 yards? Just seems a bit overstated, at least that's my guess.

    Targets at 80 yards must be easier than p*ssy ATA targets at 22 yards.

    The ATA is really out to get you! Your averages aren't even close that according to the shooter information center.

    Congratulations on 100K targets that's quite an achievement in anyone's book!

    Of course not every year, highest 16 yd was couple years, hdcp is different
    story, very hi in my competitive years, hdcp was my game.
    High enough to w/o reductions, held there for I believe 8 years because of 2 year holds on wins, I am better than an average shooter. Just go back over the years, my wins have been lost on numerous occasions as records did not go back gfar enough to be on computer, I was told by ATA office when I asked for the search of my wins, But they are in Trap & Field w/pictures, I have them in my scrapbook, I do not care what any one thinks, I know my accomplishments that is what is important, I do not need to be questioned by anybody, I answer only to my self. I can look at myself in the mirror and not be ashamed of my record. I never ever sandbagged a target, I got a 100 straight in Hdcp from 24 yards, most shooters never get that done on 3 hole targets at 50 yards.

    You can get a good read on my abilities in Shooter Information Center not much since Vandalia Closed, NW was a newbie to trap in 1982-3 I had 14 years on him when he joined, I had my 100 strt in hdcp 12 years before he even joined. He is the man that drove the wooden stake in the heart of the ATA and you worship his highness, I feel sorry that do, you got led down the path of destruction, I am glad I had the good times.

    God Bless you all Gary Bryant amen

    I have to make a correction on my averages both hdcp and singles
    Hi singles 2006=98.17

    2001=97.76

    2000=97.71

    1990=98.06

    Hdcp 1985=89.00

    1983=89.01

    1980=89.00

    2000=90.45

    2002=90.68

    2003=90.28
    Sorry about mis-information, very damn few of you have that kind of averages, that question mine, post your best years, Plus I am not a hi-average shooter who does not shoot in bad, rainy, windy, weather, snow, or sleet, I shoot in it all, have won numerous hdcp championships, Nora Martin has beaten me in Florida for singles championships, at the Southern Grand. Now you have a good knowledge about me, that's all there will be said by me.

    Back to sitting on my hands. There is Latest News Posted on Shooter Information Center.

    Gary already beat better than you.

    Looks like someone just crossed the line and challenged the Dr. to a 90 yard target contest. You run your mouth, you're buying gas to Ohio.
