Thanks to our friends in Illinois for keeping us informed. How does this apply to an “Amateur” Trapshooting Association? Masks at the grand?

    Updated April 14, 2021

This guidance issued by the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO), the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), and the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) pertains to all youth and adult recreational sports, including, but not limited to, school-based sports (high school and elementary school), travel clubs, private leagues and clubs, recreational leagues and centers, and park district sports programs. This guidance does NOT pertain to professional sports leagues or college division level sports. This guidance supersedes all previously issued All Sports Guidance issued from DCEO, IDPH and /or ISBE.

These guidelines do not apply to adult sport activities subject to existing DCEO guidance identified below:

    • For recreational golf, refer to existing guidance on the DCEO website.
    • For recreational bowling, refer to existing guidance on the DCEO website.
Wearing face coverings or masks with coverage of nose and mouth reduces the transmission of disease and, in accordance with the communicable disease code, all participants who can medically tolerate a face covering must wear a face covering at all times, including during competition and other active exercise, unless wearing a face covering poses an injury risk as set forth in these guidelines.

This guidance will be regularly updated as public health conditions change and new information becomes available.

    I report. You decide.

    Brad....
It looks to me like the letter telling the ATA was intentionally hidden from the delegates. Why? Because the letter told Gipson masking had to be dealt with.

Imagine the foia office having to ask WSRC Director twice for the letter. What was in the missing letter?

    masking...ingress/egress needs to be addressed

The Amateur Trapshooting Association? or Professional Trapshooting Association?

How much money will the AIM kids be shooting for?

What letter? All I see is an email conversation.

Does it matter to you if it was a letter or email? Same difference right? Fraud is fraud.
You think it matters how the letter was sent? It was sent electronically. It was received by Lynn Gipson.

The only difference to me is mail fraud vs wire fraud. But, I am not an attorney. You can bet an attorney will be asked.

Who decided not to tell the members?

Who decided not to tell the vendors?

For you Brad. Was it necessary to hide this? Do you want to call it email. Ok by me.

I think “ingress” is inside wearing. “Egress” is outside wearing mandated.

Read the "CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE" a few times ..... "may constitute inside information" .....

A corrupt State and a "public charity" have "communication" that "may constitute inside information" .....

And some wonder why the "ATA" fights so hard to stay in the BFE boondoggle ..... It doesn't seem to have anything to do with Trapshooting .....

    ii. Encouraged best practices

    1. Players should handle their own balls.

If everyone is vaccinated by then, there won't be any need for masks, or any other restrictions.

The ATA needs to give out two masks for free at the entry building to make sure everyone has one. Faucci says wear two all summer.

IL State High Patrol has a big presence there. Better safe than sorry.

What do you base that on ?????

ol'JoJo and his 'experts' don't seem to agree with you ..... 'They' say all the "new" variants keep the mask garbage necessary, even if "everyone is vaccinated by then" ....

Not true. Those that are vaccinated do not need to wear masks, or remain distanced from others that are vaccinated. The key word in my previous post is, "everyone". Obviously, that will never happen. Vaccines so far, are working against the variants. I have never seen a mask in a club since the virus started, so I doubt they will start now. The problem here is, the facilities are State Government owned. So it really depends on the state of Illinoise.

    Federal CDC "guidelines":

    If you’ve been fully vaccinated:

    • You can gather indoors with fully vaccinated people without wearing a mask or staying 6 feet apart.
In my opinion, everyone that wants to be vaccinated, should be by then. Open everything up with no restrictions, and let it run it's course. We need to reach herd immunity one way or another before next fall, and we are all packed indoors again.

    Masking.....egress and ingress

    Inside and out.
It couldn’t be clearer. They also have an order saying the same for the whole state. That includes competition.

    For now right?

As long as you are vaccinated!

On whether or not people should carry their vaccination cards or if there will be any sort of requirement for people to prove that they are vaccinated in order to not wear a mask, Pritzker said the responsibility will fall on individuals and private businesses.

"That's gonna be up to private businesses and to individuals if they want to carry something like that with them. The state will provide the data and information for private solutions for that if people want to use something like that, there's no requirement, however," Pritzker said. "We are relying upon people to do the right thing, we are relying upon people to recognize that they don't want to infect other unvaccinated people and they don't themselves want to get sick and so it's important for people to protect themselves and I think there's a real motivation for people to go get vaccinated as well."

If Illinois cancels again, let’s hope there is someone to save the ship. Missouri was there last year. The Cardinal Center saved the SCTP when Illinois dumped them.

If only you guys could get rid of the “gun hate state” monacre.

I heard from an older shooter (don’t know wether it’s true or not) you cannot be asked if you are vaccinated or asked to see you card as it would violate HIPAA law. I saw today the the governor will follow the cdc guidelines on masks but that “it will take some time” to figure out what that means. Typical political response. As of right now all of Illinois is on track to be 100% open on or about June 11th.

Ohio shot last year. We had our shoots when Sparta was closed. Missouri held the grand for you. And now you are trolling us saying you are open for business maybe. “On track”. Your track record sucks.

I know it’s early for you. You must not of read what I had to say correctly. I didn’t say anything about Ohio or Missouri or how they were able to have large shoots and we were not. I just stated that currently Illinois is on track for everywhere in the state, not just state entities to be back to normal by June 11th. I’ll see you at the Grand, stop by I’ll buy the first beer!

Still posting that bait “ see you at the grand” .

Dude, it’s starting to smell like catfish bait. It was funny the first three or four times you tried it but now it’s just boring.

I told you before, you never replied btw, try sending that message to all those mid western shooters.
That is really the main problem. They were supposed to show up and they refuse to go to that place. There’s your problem. It’s not with those of us in OH or PA.
You have to convince those people to attend so Winston’s predictions don’t make him look like an ass.

Oops, OK, too late for that but you get the general idea.
