    Just came back from the local club, which I have talked about (worst trap field) & (mgr. busted}

This in my opinion takes the cake--they have very little ammo-thank God I'm well stocked !!

Well a shooter came over to me & said, "Phil, they're charging $15.00/box)
now we're talking budget Noblesport ammo--hope they give you a 26th shell & a little KY so it does hurt so much

So $8.56/ rd of trap + $15.00--how many people will they drive away ?

First the manager runs off with monies from clubs, and now they are trying to make up for their losses ?

    $15.00 + tax = $16.09 for shells with tax

    $8.00 + tax + $8.56 for a round of trap / skeet / or 5 stand

    $24.65 total per round

They just lost my business Phil !

$8.56 / round was bad enough on that terrible field, and now when I need shells they bump them from $6.99 to $15.00.
    Ouch !!!

Was (sort of) fun while it lasted down there.

Gotta believe a person paid $200.00 for a flat of Estates Super Handicap # 9 shot on Gun Broker

Just called your club. Said they don't have any 12 or 20ga ammunition. You want to shoot, bring your own.
Must have had a run on the sale they had at $15 a box.

Jaqua;s have plenty of high dollar trap guns on the shelfs, no ammo. I think a clay target club without ammo is going to be a clay target club without shooters.

I've only been selling ammo to the people that are actually hunting with me this year and only 1 box per man. I don't know what next season will bring. I started getting hunting loads in the spring for this season, I still had trouble and am buying any shells I can find right now for next year, but none are out there.

By the way the club wants to charge the same, for trap, skeet & sporting clays--34 cents /target--thru 2021

Birds go up .50/case. Clubs raise round 1.00/shooter. Is this considered gouging?

Well, at $8.50 + tax it won't take long to have that beautiful field (Mess) shut down because of no shooters.

With all the high rollers down at that club, the Sporting Clays side will survive no matter what they charge.

Every time I have been down there the parking lot is full of Sporting Clays shooters, and rightfully so.

The SC and 5 stand sides are beautiful !

Yep, talking about high rollers, there was a bright yellow Lamborghini in the parking lot, yesterday, but I guess a farmer with a million dollar+ combine, is still considered a working stiff

I put on some shells on gunbroker to help guys and wow the auction went crazy.

I have 125 flats so I’m not worried about this year but I’m starting to have a problem getting shells from a supplier for customers.
