I have a Perazzi stock on the inside where the wood touches the metal, a 5 is stamped on each side. Can someone tell me what that number means? THX

The first thing that came to mind is the code number they used to differentiate between stocks as far as dimensions.
I had a few over the years and can remember I had both a #1 and a #4 for my TM1.

I looked on the chart and don't see a #5 dimension but that doesn't mean the factory didn't make one. They were known for doing all kinds of things that were not "standard."

Thank you, although the 5 is not in the chart shown, it gives me some insight of what the numbers mean.

    Maybe,
As I said, Perazzi didn't follow any chiseled in stone rules.

Get a straight edge and a ruler and you can figure the dimensions for yourself. That #5 might not have any meaning at all as far as the code numbers.
