"Los Angeles sheriff: Gun shops not essential, must close"

Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva on Tuesday said gun shops are nonessential businesses and if they don’t close their doors, they will be cited and face the loss of their business licenses.

“Gun shops, strip clubs, night clubs are nonessential businesses. We are trying to get them to close their doors,” he said. “If they don’t close their doors, they will be cited,” which could mean the loss of a business license."

In the story he says that he is a gun owner himself and the closure has nothing to do with the 2nd Amendment

Sure he's a gun owner. He's a cop. Everyone that's NOT a cop but wants to protect themselves?

Was just looking over the list of "essential businesses" that will remain open. I didn't think the list was that long. Anyways, it says that hardware stores and related businesses will remain open. I would think that a gun shop can be considered a form of a hardware store. Then again this is LA we're talking about. The place that houses West Hollywood.

    Holy CRAP!

First this guy closes the gun shops. Demorats say "Good Job" he is doing the right thing.

Then after HLS says they must stay open he reverses his edict. Demorats cry out in anguish.

Then, THEY FIRE HIM!!!!! from his job as the "emergency operations" manager. Demorats say that is because he screwed up back in 2018 when they had all those wild fires.

Yeah RIGHT, just a coincidence on the timing.

I'll bet he votes for President Trump the next time.
