R.A.D. stands for Recoil Absorption Device. (has adjustable LOP) This device uses hydraulic fluid to reduce the kinetic energy produced by the firing of a shotgun or rifle. This is superior to other methods that use springs to store the energy during the motion of the gun during recoil. The stored potential energy in the spring will then be transferred back to the shooter at the end of the recoil motion. By using the hydraulic fluid to dampen recoil the kinetic energy is dissipated during the motion of the gun during recoil. This allows the motion of the gun to achieve controlled linear deceleration with a minimum reaction force.

i have a grade 2 . cant use left hand wood. do you have any other cole stuff?

I said LH wood because it has a very small Left palm swell...…. other wise it is a Right Hand stock and I shoot right handed. the butt plate/recoil pad is 5/8" or so kicked out to right (see pix in listing) and 4 way comb set up for RH shooter. (see pix in listing)
