I have a beautiful Winchester Mdl 21 for sale. It shoots like a dream in both Vintage Trap Doubles and Pheasant Shooting in SD. I'm only selling as I just bought a Browning Diana Superposed from Bruno Lombardo and need to whittle down my guns in the safe. I sent the gun to CSMC in early 2019 for a full repair/annual where they replaced all the receiver screws, replaced the selector switch, tuned the trigger and basically went all over the gun. Here are the specifics of this great gun that was built in 1937 (SN#76xx):

    1. 12 gauge with 30 inch barrels, raised vent rib, Full and Modified fixed choke, two beads.
    2. All iron SN's match
    3. Stock dimensions are 1.375x1.57x2.12 and has a LOP of 14 inches. It has a White Line pad.
    4. Top latch as shown in the pictures is far to the right.
    5. Bluing is extremely strong
    6. Includes a very nice leather gun case with Mdl 21 label, two straps to close along with a keyed latch (no key) and all wrapped in a canvas and leather cover with zipper.

Shipped from me to your FFL in the lower 48 states for $6300. First "I'll take it" gets this fine piece of Winchester history.

What is the year of manufacture; do you have a Cody letter?

Dave - as I said in my description above, the gun was manufactured in 1937 based on its SN#. I sent the data to Cody and they replied that this gun had no records in the Mdl 21 system - which is not unusual for early guns. They referred me to the NRA website which they built and use where it states that full records of production really didn't start until 1938 or after. The pic below is a screen shot of the NRA/Cody website stating same. Mdl 21 #11.jpg

    I appreciate your efforts.
Great looking Model 21. I had at one time a two barrel set; wish I still had it.
    Good luck with the sale.

Got a PM asking what CSMC is? It is the Connecticut Shotgun Manufacturing Company, New Britain, Conn - started by a guy named Tony Galazan I believe who bought the patent/manufacturing rights for the Model 21. Not only does he repair, but he builds new Model 21's to specs. Best place to send a Model 21 for gunsmithing.
