We’ve added Wednesday to the Event, and have the updated Program and Pre-Squad form now available. To those that have already Pre-Squaded, please contact us at program@pssashotgunning.org or mail the updated form as soon as possible. Pre-Squading by mail and online(RJ Stuart) will be open until July 16th.

We hope to see you all there!!

    Pre-Classification:
Due to the overwhelming response for the State Shoot and PA Grand, we’ll be continuing this for the Summer Championships.

Shooters can email Brian James at classification@pssashotgunning.org

Please provide your full name, ATA #, averages for sng/hdc/dbl and Special Category if applicable. As well as what class you feel you should be based on the 6 class system.
For anyone who has pre-squadded, we’ll be doing yours automatically. We still ask that you send a request in to assure proper class/category.
As always, it’s the shooters responsibility to assure you’re classified correctly. Any corrections can be made at the Classification Office prior to Cashiering.

    Thank you

Good plan for pre classifying, I suggested it to the osta before the Ohio State Shoot, (I think on here also) but they said they couldn't do it. How did it work out in Pa?

DEDPAIR could answer this better but those of us that pre squadded thought it worked great. If you pre squadded then you got pre classified also. The classifying line was maybe 30ft long and the squadding line was probably double that into the vendor area. Meanwhile the cashiering lines were minimal. If more people pre squadded, the lines would have been kept in check IMO.

It worked extremely well! Don and the classification Staff come in the day before the shoot and start the data entry. If someone has an issue, they can always come to the windows for review. These were mainly not declaring category, or in the case of the Lady Shooters, which way they wanted to be declared. Not sure if it will be able to be added, but last word was we were going to ask Stuart to add Classification Summary tab to the Kiosk's used for printing/releasing squads. Would highly recommend it to any State/Club looking to ease the morning lines. As for more people pre-squadding I'll defer on that one, for obvious reasons!!

Thanks DEDPAIR I am trying to talk Stuart into something like you are doing for the CC. I hope you get him over the hump. Thanks again.
