That aluminum beretta kicks like a SOB, by the time you add all the crap it’s going to weigh what you’re shooting now.
So that baby will hit stuff at all points of the compass? Including fences?
Probably worth about a $1000 which I’ll give you right now.
I’ve been a life member there since 2003.
I had my lawn blower on full ball’s hoping to meet your toaster on the field of honor.
read your rule book ! This conversation is stupid.
18.4 is .724 inch. You’re spot on the lead ball thing is correct in the Stone Age. The 16 bore is the perfect gauge with 1 oz. of shot.
What’s the bore diameter and choke constriction? Who was the gunsmith? I might be interested.
What is your point? The ata doesn’t care what your bore diameter is. They only have limitations on the shell you shoot. Using your lead ball theory,...
.410 is not a gauge it’s a bore.
And what is the bore and choke dimensions? The bore size seems to be double stamped, maybe from a proof house? 18.5 might be a slight back bore.
How tall is the rib?
There is little standardization in bore sizes. I shoot 18.4’s
.750 isn’t a standard 12 bore anyway.
12 gauge shell. If you want to shoot it out of a two inch diameter water pipe it’s legal. Stan Baker’s big bore were made from 10 gauge barrels
They do lower the cost of barrels which is great. I purchased a spare O/U for my mx3 special last year. They were pro ported and I got the barrel...
Very simple, if you don’t like ported barrels don’t buy them. Let’s have a real conversation like what choke is best.
I don’t think it’s necessary a detriment. I mean if I got a deal on a set of barrels that someone reputable ported I probably wouldn’t care except...
I would recommend watching Jim Eysters video on YouTube. He goes into detail on porting. He admits porting does nothing for muzzle flip , however...
Verney- Carron made those barrels.
They were made for Hastings by a high end gun company. Which I have to look up. Some claim that they were better barrels than Perazzi.
Not bootlegs, I think Hastings sold them.
I have a nice one.
They do nothing for barrel flip but they do help with perceived recoil.
There were some French made barrels for Perazzi but damned if I can remember who made them. They were of high quality.
Remington hasn’t make anything good in years. I was at the gun store the other day and looked at a 700. Cheap pot metal trigger guard and floor plate...
Find a nice used O/U sporting clays gun with an adjustable comb. It’s a compromise setup but will allow you to shoot all the clay sports Until you...
They were ok when they first opened. They sure suck now!
I do need a chunk of wood for a comb project and that stock might work.
I’ve never seen a stock break like that, sure you didn’t back your truck over it? If you got it from Coles I’m sure they will help you out.
Now if we could get the ATA management and a few professional wrestlers in stock cars I may go to a race again.
Andy’s car was a gas turbine.
greetings all, does anyone have experience with these chokes? If so feel free to PM me as I have a few questions. Best regards, Otis
Sounds like you work for the company! Lol just kidding. I live in Arizona too. You can only drink so much water!
I think I was staying at the Heartbreak Hotel. I remember that the room service was terrible!
Can’t go wrong with that gun!
Bring it to Tucson!
Most would argue Ithaca is the better gun. I’ve owned both and either one was a great gun.
Who did the re-blue on it?
You can’t kill a TM1
I have a M1Garand and a browning high power. I beg the rioters to pop by for a vist!
My personal favorites are the two I own. My Rome NY import MX3 Special combo and my Ithaca import TM1.
Didn’t even save me a piece! BMW, which one do you have?
Elvis isn’t dead.
I’ve always been partial to to the pie chart.
Of course the one that fits you! I was asking about quality of manufacture, balance and handling.
What in your opinion what was the best trap gun Perazzi ever made?
I bet they are saying that! I think the ATA need to go bye bye, there has to be a better way.
The Grand should be moved to Tucson.
I know Bill Martin and trust me my home club in Tucson would not be what it is today without him. So what if he’s not sponsoring something this year.
