Some intriguing questions / statements from a few of those in the trenches this week.

Do you think it is possible Mr Gipson makes more money with or without the added money at the grand?

    I report. You decide.

I could care less about added money at the Grand. It will all be marked high gun, so the average shooter should not get excited about it either being there or no being there. Roger C.

Roger you missed the point. The idea that added money might lower the income for the Director?

He should have enough shit on the EC by now to demand and receive a hefty raise monthly. He sure as hell has not improved the organization in his time as director. If he has it has been kept a secret. Roger C.

Thanks Merlo, I'm not much of an e-mailer as anyone of my friends will attest to. I still have a flip phone and don't text but it is good to know how to get in touch with you somehow when I have some inside info. My PM box on here is probably full too as I've never checked it. I'm old fashion I like phone calls best.

    OLD BRAVE WARRIOR

Pictured is the image of the old brave warrior named "Thorn in Bottom" listening to the future on the "talking wire"

One can only guess how he got his name. Some say it was because he fought against the new chiefs wishes to change the once great traditions of the tribe.

His Indian name translates in English to "Pain in the Ass."

THORN IN BOTTOM SHOWS FELLOW BRAVES

This image is of Thorn in Bottom showing fellow braves what to do about the "Talking Wire"

There are no written records and only tales handed down from one generation to the next but it was said that one day
Thorn in Bottom had hit 100 of the glass insulators without a miss.

There is a little known side story to the above picture. This story was seldom mentioned around the council fires for fear the tribe would look down on the two other braves in the picture.

The one in the middle was the tribe's piece pipe maker. Since the ceremony usually consisted of one person passing the pipe to the next by "laying" the pipe in their hands he was known as "Layer of the Pipe."

In the picture it is believed he is telling "Thorn in Bottom" that if the insulators were lower he would be able to hit more of them.

The Indian on the far left was known as "Draw on Teepee Walls", or by some as "None Hone". He proclaimed himself a medicine man that knew more than anyone in the tribe and would draw symbols and numbers on any teepee or rock anytime he could to try and prove his prophesies. Some considered him crazy while others believed every word he spoke or drawing he painted.

In the picture he is agreeing with "Layer of the Pipe" about the lower insulators but also pointing out that Thorn in Bottom
should be using a "faster" type of ammunition.

History does not record what this Indian's name None Hone translated to in English but some think it was
"I am full of buffalo dung"
