cabin at the cardinal

Has anyone ever rented a cabin at the Cardinal Center? I will be making a trip out there and was thinking about renting a cabin.

I have heard that there is a waiting list for the cabin rentals, also you get a preference for renting for the present 3 major shoots at the Cardinal.

 

Yes, I was in touch with them today and got my name on the waiting list, not sure what the chances are of an cabin becoming available.
I have learned to make reservations early for major shoots. I made my reservations for the Southern Grand back in November.

 

Try to get one as far away from those that border I-71 as the noise from trucks is substantial.

 

With the addition of 2 more shoot dates the cabins and sites will be even harder to get!

 

Oh, forgot to mention, if you do get one the mattresses really suck so make sure you bring egg crate foam or a sleeping bag mat to put on top.

 

Apparently the wifi sucks and the AC is spotty though

 

actually the wi fi is great. Last year they added bunch of repeaters/ extra antenna's and we get great reception all the time. Bob Stuart had a hand in it and made it work great. Can't speak for the cabins as we camp. motordoc
