The bad thing about the infestations is the victim gets chewed by bedbugs and he flees to another motel. Thus taking a suitcase full of bugs to a bunch more victims.

Is the one case of bedbugs Gipson's fault or did someone from
Illinois sabotage that guy from Ohio' s room
Somehow I imagine it will get blamed on Gipson.

The rooms are not in Sparta. It was in Pinkneyville. I do not know the name of the hotel. Hopefully someone who knows will update the name. May want to avoid in the future. But doc's comments are true.

My son in law is an exterminator, when a motel gets bed bugs they have to treat that room and the rooms on each side of it. Above and below if there are rooms there also. It takes about a week for the rooms to be OK and fixed. No accredited exterminator would give it a fix this fast.

What do you expect when you try to build a "world" class facility in a third world neighborhood-- the first word in all real estate transactions is "location" if the Taj Mahal was built in Sparta-- --who would care

My guess would be the contractors building it ..... the building cost in "Sparta" seems to be very high, if you use the couple of million dollar "pole barn" as an example .....

And, no doubt those who could pay themselves up to a couple of hundred grand a year to "run it" .....

According to one of the head Kool-Aid drinkers, and probably the biggest ass there, this story was made up by one of us.

I know your are reading this you twit. Hell, you even copied and pasted Brad's post about hearing about "the bugs".

NOW GO BACK TO THE KOOL-AID STAND AND TELL ALL OF YOUR BACK SLAPPING ASS PATTING BUDDIES THAT YOU WERE WRONG,THIS EVENT ACTUALLY DID HAPPEN, AND YOU ARE SO SORRY FOR THE COMMENTS YOU MADE.

Better yet, go back and delete your post. That way none of us will be able to point out your mistake and call you a twit.

Maybe a quarter wit? You and one of your quarter wit buddies could add up to a?

He wont' have the stones to do it, HE WON'T EVEN HAVE THE BACKBONE TO ADMIT HE WAS WRONG, but since he is going to read this on our site I figured I would let him know we appreciate him mentioning us on other sites.

What a putz. Funny as hell in a pathetic sort of way but still a putz.

The only good posts that guy puts up over are the ones when he mentions this site. Hell, that statement would imply that he puts up bad posts too. In reality the ONLY time he opens his mouth is take a swipe at this site or someone on here. and that is just fine with me. Wasn't he one of the 4 stooges that said we wouldn't last 30 DAYS?

And here we are and he is still talking about us.

Brad might not have been completely correct when he gave his assessment. This guy could give the graph master a run for his money when it comes to being the biggest.

You have never been to a live bird shoot have you? Your post sounds like you believe that is what it takes to kill those poor defenseless little feathered God's creatures.

Do you think that a doctor, someone that has devoted their life to caring for people and has saved lives, has a "killer instinct"? Is that what you think Flyers shooters need to win THOUSANDS of dollars? They go to these shoots, spend tons of money, and sometimes win tons of money, and they do this because they have a "killer instinct". Really?

Google peta and shark. They are always looking for volunteers. You just might get to meet hindi face to face.

As far as you defending the twit with the IQ of 44?
maybe he can't afford to bet $500.00?
maybe he doesn't even have $500.00?
maybe he has it, can afford to bet it, but doesn't have the balls to put up $500 on a bet?
maybe he knows he wouldn't have a prayer of winning and that is why he shut up and ran away?
maybe he doesn't have the nerves it takes to walk up to the stake with over $900.00 on the line and ask, "are you ready"?
maybe he doesn't have the backbone to spout off and then back it up?
maybe he's just an ata cheerleader that never really won anything and just likes to talk?

Maybe you feel the same way as he does? That anyone that has ever shot pigeons has to have a "killer instinct"?

Careful 101, a lot of GREAT trap shooters, ata registered target shooters or REAL TRAPSHOOTERS as you and the stooges like to call them, HOF trap shooters, have done VERY WELL in the pigeon ring. I don't think they would agree with you that someone has to have a "killer instinct" to shoot pigeons.

Or just maybe good ole 44 just ran his mouth without thinking...…...AGAIN!

And after all that, WE ARE HUMANS AND EAT MEAT, WE ALL HAVE THE "KILLER INSTICT".

    Flyer,
Really, i was just being a smart....
But that last statement doesn't make the cut.
How many humans out there actually kill their own meat?
Do you? Besides a few pigeons and hunting, do you butcher your own pork or beef or chicken?
I do. I raise chickens, cows and a few butcher hogs and i kill everything I eat unless I'm in town and hit Mickey D's.
Most people don't have a clue.

    Ollie,
I've eaten plenty of pigeons, wild ones. Not raised birds for live bird shoots.
Always manage to get a couple dozen every dove seasons. Pigeons that are free range.
You know the ones I'm talking about, the ones that pick the corn out of cow shit.
Just like my chickens and hogs do.

Clueless as usual. Doesn't even know most pigeons are trapped at where they gather. Pen raised birds are poor flyers. See, he's turning down a chance at making $500 and eating squab cheap for weeks. A rock has more knowledge of flyer shooting than this fool.

People wouldn't know that because they were never invited to a shoot but that is the very reason they shouldn't post something that makes them look silly.

Unless of course they were just being a smart....

No I've never been invited to a " flyer" shoot.
Didn't know that they trapped birds for the shoot.
How many birds are needed for a typical shoot?
Sounds like fun. Maybe someday I will get the chance to attend one.

Did do a " continental" pheasant shoot once.
Pen raised birds. Fun but not fun enough that I care to do another.
Wasn't competition or anything near it. Best part was watching the dogs work.

Anyone who wants to know about the Flyer shoots and how they were/are run can just look at some of the past threads from History Buff.

I was amazed to find out that not only pigeons were used but sometimes sparrows, bats, etc. were used. AND the competition was sometimes only 14 and up "Flyers" depending on how many birds had been trapped.

Serious Question for Flyersarebest though. Do your competitions only use pigeons now, or do they still offer up other species?

I just am asking because I don't believe I have ever been told about the modern shoots having anything but Pigeons.

Love the history behind Flyer shooting.

They used starlings too but the bird boys rejected handling 'em. Now it's just increasingly expensive pigeons.

    $10.00 a bird now

Trap and Handle? I was too green, and smart enough, to take the bet years ago when the guy wanted to shoot $100.00 a bird.
I swear to God some of those SOB's NEVER got hit. They would fly back to the coop and the guy would bring them back the next shoot.

All pigeons for the last 40 years I have shot.

I did watch guys shooting and betting on who could hit the most DRAGON FLIES. Walnut Creek in the field next to the rings. They had a Remington smooth bore pump .22 and shot shells.

I had a pigeon ring for a few years. Pigeons are dirty, pest ridden birds and you should think of them as rats with wings. They are much harder to handle than pheasants are because they get sick and die easy, but saying that, a pigeon is the perfect bird for a contest. They are hard to kill and are generally hard flyers.

If I was inclined to shoot anything at competition anymore it would be live birds, most fair and most fun shotgun game going (or ever). Brad

If only BED BUGS Could Fly, target costs would be almost nil, They would have to be fed Growth Whoremones, that was not a mis-print, Just for SPARTA USE in Illinois. Rendville would be the supplier, as the breeder.

I have shot a few pigeon shoots, not as many as FlyerareBest, at Ryans, Great Eastern, Strip Mine Land near Jefferson County and at a private place near Johnstown, Ohio, and thousands and thousands near the egg farms, and hog lots all over the state of ohio, the farmers want em dead as the crap all over their silo feeds and make cows sick, we call em flying rats, like Brad said. WE shot pigeons coming out of downtown Columbus off RT-104, flying over fence rows, did this a lot w/the late Jim Forsbach years ago in the 1970s, they went south low and flew back High to Columbus. There were lots of em near the sewage disposal Plants.

I have total respect for those that compete not just those that win ... I'm glad I never got into that, could of lost a fortune in a very short amount of time ... I really enjoyed watching the action unfold, amazing to say the least ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

My ring had the same double box set up. My boxes and wiring are still in the ground but my ring is grown up with bushes now.

One of the things I liked most about birds was that every club had a little different set up and a few different ground rules. Shell size, copper or lead, must fire both shots or not, handicap rules. Love that pigeon shooting.

I was but a spectator there but could have shot 5 practice birds for $45. I didn't but wished later that I had. The entry fees were surprisingly high. Some old boys had cowboy boots worth more than my shotgun, and shotguns worth more than my house and car tied together. I'll be darned if I wouldn't like to enter one though at least once before Gabe blows his horn.
Rumor had it there that the pigeons were kidnapped out west and sprung with spring pressure and electric shock. They seemed impossible to see the first several yards out of the box.
