is anyone going to the PA state shoot? I haven’t attended in the past but would like to go. I couldn’t find a program for the event. If you have a link, please post. And thanks!

We have @ 300 AIM/SCTP kids coming in Saturday/Sunday so hopefully that trend continues thru the week. Good to see all the youth and the Vendors should do very well!!! Also with Krieghoff donating another K-80 for the Krieghoff Challenge Friday is always a BIG draw! Throw in Elite Shotguns' $7000 added money for the State Singles Championship and Aguila, Rio and Cushman Insurance donating prizes, we should do well. Hoping the Weather forecast holds up and feel free to look me up or maybe I'll call your name one nite for a Shoot-Off!!!

When I used to shoot ATA I always liked the Pa shoots, my kids liked to go to the little amusement park, Knobel's if I remember right. Brad

PA State shoot Event #4 was total of event #1 & #4 144 did not shoot the 2nd 100 that is why I did not enter a # it was incomplete at the time.

There was an AIM & SCTP co-shoot on the Singles along w/the 200 singles

I need to make several corrections according to RJ Stuart computations.

There was a deletion of an event according to RJ's report

Just like they do in OH. Ha Ha Ha! I saw a new low this year even for PA. Now the new shooter girl friends get prime banks at prime time. PA Trap Shooting has to be one of the few places you can BUY an advantage in a completive event. Now they want trap shooters to pay for skeet fields & sporting ranges. FWIW this was my 45th state shoot.

Hey Doc, better look again, Kenny broke 1057

He was a great shot 40 years ago and still is. And his son is right up there with Dad.
We had a shoot one year where Ken had to work that morning. He came to the club, signed up, then took a nap in the car. Won the doubles with a 98. Check out how many times he has been on the State team and his record over the last 25-30 years. He earned it!

BTW. You should probably check out the name of the winner for the Handicap Championship, event #22, while you are at it.

Oh, and the resident Sub-Vet winner with a 200 x 200 in Saturdays Singles.

Absolutely correct and must be changed. Amazing how the prima donnas always get the preferred banks while the rest of the peons are stuck on banks 5-6-12. No reason why banks can't be drawn just like FL. since there is such a variation in backgrounds. Stupid excuse used is the campers need to shoot on the lower banks in prime time but somehow make it up to the top to sign up. Even as they open up new flights the best banks are held back or unavailable to most less than special shooters. All this does is create longer sign up lines and disgruntled shooters. Yes, I voiced my opinion to the powers at the top.

I have to stand my version, AAA winner HOA was 1053
HOA Winner was 1057, I saw that Daroch.

Resident Gold Junior 1056, Give me some credit

There are lower Classes that OUT scored higher classes.

I credit that Gold YOUNGER JR, on his Feat, Great Shooting son.

Hey GB, The shooter you reference was in fact a AAA shooter. Junior Gold is not a class it's a category for shooters 18-22 years old. He is in the prime of his life and a very good shot. I have nothing bad to say about any shooter. I would just like a level playing field. Guess what the top two scores at this shoot were shot on a bank of traps that the average shooter can only walk by. Wonder what they would have shot on the "bad" traps.

Butch, so you're just not "special". Maybe an occasional "sit in" at the classification booth will change your luck. I'm sure all you have to do is pre-squad for "only bank 3 at prime time" and your request will be cheerfully honored. Meanwhile, enjoy banks 5,6,7 and 12 or head for the nearest sex change center and practice eating bananas!
