Bill Hunter has passed.

  1. Mr. Bill Hunter of Ca. passed this morning. Bill would have been 97 next month. He is one of the greatest supporters of Trap Shooting ever. My condolences to his family. J.R. Long

    I just spoke with Jan and she stated he went peacefully at home. I sure will miss Bill. He was a GREAT friend for many a year. RIP BILL.

    Condolences to the Family and Friends of Mr. Bill Hunter ... Truly one of the good guys ... I have a money clip with a $20.00 bill in it I got for a win from Bill (still intact as he handed it to me ) ... RIP, back with Ruthie ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

    RIP. The first thing I ever won in a Trap shoot was 4 boxes of AA's for a second place handicap finish at the Miramar Gun Club in San Diego (closed) donated by Bill Hunter. He use to donate cases of shells to second and third place finishers all over Southern California, for many years. A really great supporter of Trap Shooting.....So long Bill, and thank you.

    Bill would call me about once every couple of months just to visit and see how we were doing in Ohio. He bought a lot of cards off of Ann to write to people on. I'll miss those phone calls.
