Wouldn't it be faster and easier to just take the barrel off and tap out the ejector?

Must not know how the ejector system functions

Then they'd probably lose the detent ball and spring and spend even more time searching for 'em. The blind leading the blind.

I've seen it before on other guns. My Citori a few times and twice in 20+ years with my old type 3 MX8 so it's not something that rare. My first question when I saw the picture was, what's the deal with the primer? When I had it happen to me the rim was under the ejector but the primer was still seated.

What made it back out of the case?

We used to have that using Blue Magic’s and AA primers. And that’s not a Remington primer. Looks like AA.

Just pop out the ejector. Remove shell. Replace ejector. 3 -4 min.

Got to be re pops (reloads) and one thing for sure is they need a much bigger hammer ... He has the shell in upside down also ... Supposed to say Remington across the top not on the bottom like he has it ... ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

The primer thing has me baffled. How can a primer back out?

The primer will back out if the primer hole is to big and it does not fit in tight enough … I am not a fan of reloading but have seen many people open the gun and primer, brass etc go flying … They need to put arrows on them so they do not get put in upside down …. WPT … (YAC) …

If the firing pin hole is that big the primer backing out is the least of your worries.

Primer pocket in the shell, not firing pin hole in the receiver.

It's not a Kreighoff problem it's a bad reload problem. You cannot try to force a bad reload in a precision gun.

The re loaders I talk to always tell me they load better and more consistent shells that the factory can, none of them mention the primer problem … I'll stick with the new ones … WPT … (YAC) …

FYI, I shot a box of my reloads for my first 25 last night and fellow shooters marveled at the break quality. I shot a box of the new Peters light #8's for my 2nd. 25 and received several negative comments on the quality of those breaks. Heh, I tried to like 'em.

We will need to see a graph to decide if it was the shells or you.

About 144 pattern tests should do it thank you.

I shoot reloads too and love them because I shoot 1 1/8 oz at about 1020 fps for low recoil. However, the primer in the load in the picture seems to be sticking out and that will cause a problem in a precision gun like a K80. I have problems some with steel base reloads jamming in my K80 but that's my resizing problem not the gun. Also, as Krieghoff told me don't shoot cheap primer shells in a K80 because the gun will pierce the primer and blowback will damage the firing pin. I learned the hard way because I used to shoot Rio and they told me to stop. Never had that problem again after I started to use good primer shotshell both new and reloads.

Not familiar with a Kriegoff but on a Perazzi the ejector has to be in flush with the receiver before you can remove the locking piece. K gun different?

If clearances are right it will not go past the ejector coming out without the possibility of bending or breaking the ejector. See post #18 for easy solution.

Let's see, gun, shells, glasses, lens cleaner, small screwdriver for glasses, ear plugs, extra ear plugs, knocker, towel, water, sunscreen, bug repellent. Damn, forgot the wire cutters.
