A reliable source says the Cardinal Center is looking at adding between 12 and 20 skeet fields. Do you think the Cardinal Center can find users for the fields?

I know that Jack told SCTP he'd build 16 skeet fields for the nationals if they'd commit to the CC. Not sure where they'd be but Jack does own several thousand acres around the club so I'm sure he has a spot in mind. Brad

Is 16 skeet fields enough for the SCTP? Guessing they will be overlayed?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the SCTP used 16 fields at Sparta (5-21). It was getting tight last year so they may be forced to add two additional days to the Skeet competition. Last year had a Monday-Tuesday or Wednesday-Thursday rotation.

Unfortunately SCTP will be the biggest users of the skeet fields . Skeet is dying in Ohio . I hope that the new skeet fields at the Cardinal Center will be a shot in the arm for Ohio skeet . I for one would love to see our state shoot there . On the other hand Jack is a business man and bet he could get a nice NSSA tournament with a nice size attendance with a little time and promoting. At least I hope so.

Or being resurrected? Those fields wont sit empty all year. Luke and Jake will put them to work.

I will definitely go shooting there at some time . I hope they promote the hell out of it I would love to go to a state shoot there with at least a hundred shooters . That's a lot more than we had this year.

Well, it is now a done deal. Let us see how well it is marketed and how this turns out.
As a "skeeter" I would be inclined to attend a skeet shoot there, if for no other reason than to support the investment at CC

It would be nice to get a big traveling shoot there sometime maybe the open . They alternate east and west sides of the country . Who knows but it would be nice for Ohio to have a big shoot ,after all it was the state that held the first world championship for the NSSA.
