August 5, 2020! Save The Date!

According to the World Shooting and Recreational Complex (WSRC) website,

The AIM Grand will be held at the Sparta complex from July 31 to August 4, 2020.

From August 5, 2020 to August 15, 2020, and for the 15th year in a row, the WSRC will host the 121st Grand American, the premier event of trapshooting.

Don't delay! Start making your plans now to attend. You are always welcome in the Great State of Illinois.

With ALL those activities going on our there each week, do they open up the horse barn for the public viewing ?

In all seriousness, I wouldn't go to that place if the latest EX president target claimer pointed his loaded FREE gun at my head and threatened me with pulling the trigger if I said no.

Both the place AND the brain surgeons that decided to put it there SUCK

And NONE of you lurking troll cheerleaders loved shooting registered targets as much as I did. Especially the four or five loudest Pom Pom girls that don't even shoot there.

I am going to try and make it to the 2020 Grand. I never went to Vandalia, wished I did. I want to shoot in the Nostalgia event as I am now all pull triggers, two at that!

It seems like it was back in June that the temperature really started rising on the upcoming Grand American at Sparta. People were whispering about secret meetings and phony add-on gate fees and HOF ownership and illegalities and lies and a dishonest, unethical EC. Big news was on the "horizon" and rumors and gossip were so thick that you could cut them with a knife. The Grand here, the Grand there, the Grand everywhere. And then...nothing. All hat, no horse. Like, "Here I sit, broken hearted, I came to ____ and only ____.

Truthfully, I'm just a little bit surprised that a few of Merlo's "pals in the know" haven't chimed in on this breaking news from the State of Illinois. Of course, this is Real News, not speculation. I think it would mean a lot to EVERY trapshooter out there in the Real World to know the truth. After all, this is the website that prides itself on the truth. So, come on you guys, tell us what's going on. Tell us what's REALLY happening out there in the "trenches"....if you can.

 

Phantom...Merlo might feel bad you did not get the news. He announced there was going to be big news coming. There was! Someone asked the folks at the CC to give the ATA a proposal. That is big news! Who knows how Merlo found out? My sources say Merlo is a gal that works in the ATA office. Anyway, it must have been a big let down. The proposal didn’t even get to the floor.

I guess the proposal sucked or the Cardinal is just the wrong place.

Lied about taking a bet and his "prediction"of an increase of 17% was so far off it was comical. There's someone that really has the credentials to say something about anyone else.

And the Cardinal Center would be the perfect place to hold the grand. After fourteen years of FAILURE at that s^*thole one would have to be a complete idiot to think otherwise.

Sparta Sid must be over the top with this news now that he has completely renovated the famous Sparta Motel (complete with critters) he can expect all rooms to be completely booked for the next few years, or whatever.

 

This taking the ATA down kind of reminds me how the dumocrats are taking the president down. They have all the evidence all you have to do is see it. But when you ask them to show it to you they really can't produce anything just that they know it is there right in front of you.Lets just impeach the ata president then we will try to find something to charge him with.
