Best Lense color

    Going to NC for the month of Aug. the local club throws orange targets against a brown birm background. wondering what color lenses are good for this background?

    For orange targets against a brown berm, I've had the best luck with vermillion, orange, or light purple lenses. Vermillion tends to make the target stand out well without darkening the background too much. Light purple can also increase contrast on hazy days. If you're there for the whole month of August, it might be worth bringing a couple of lens colors since lighting conditions can change quite a bit from morning to afternoon. Interested to hear what the regulars at that club are using.
