My understanding (and ones I have had) is factory cutts guns did not have a choke marking. What confirms this as a factory cutts? thanks

 

That is my understanding as well. No choke designation on the barrel when/if the Cutts was put on by Winchester.

 

Was told by the guy that i bought the barrel assembly from That it was sent back to the factory to have the cuts installed for more weight forward on his skeet gun. Have had the barrel assembly for at at least the last 30 years, just sitting in the back of the safe never did get around to finding a receiver to made it up with.That's why it's up for sale. If you look in the Winchester model 42 book by Ned Schwing on page 45. You will see an explanation of the cuts being a factory option. With the barrel marked skeet. I guess we'll have to take the man at work. Have add two of Ned Schwing book and page pictures. If you gentleman would prefer i remove the words factory cuts I will do that.
