    Good morning all,
I started out shooting trap 44 years ago and still enjoy it....but I also learned to shoot skeet back in the mid 80s. I like to shoot registered events in these two disciplines. I also shoot sporting clays for fun, as there are many places to do that where I live. Its fun...
Who else out there likes to shoot all 3 disciplines?

Hello Phil...Great to hear from you! Its takes getting used to shooting 100 targets in a 1.5 hour time limit. The benches come in handy....lol. you learn sustained lead and pass thru shooting skeet. I like shooting 410. Low recoil. Sporting clays are fun...shot some with 28 gauge a few months ago... shot well and had fun!
Trap is my main discipline, but don't have time to practice. Just go to an ATA shoot on weekends. Overall, its expensive. Ugh!

I'm shooting nothing but 7/8 oz #8 @ 1185--have to save my body or whats left of it. Putting 300 miles/week shooting trap no close trap ranges in Fl

Yes, you have to drive alot in Fla to shoot. Lots of places to shoot here in Maryland. Trap skeet and sporting. Pa,Nj and De too.

Shot Trap for the last year, started tinkering with skeet, a lot of fun with club people, and now I am beginning Sporting Clays. Love to shoot them all!

I like all three! Skeet is more enjoyable with sub gauge ammo...so is sporting clays.

Absolutely. You are far from alone. In fact, I'd argue that the most complete, adaptable, and satisfied shooters are often the ones who dabble in all three. Each discipline teaches you something that makes you better at the others.

I agree! I know some die hard trap shooters that cant shoot skeet worth a dang.

Same boat started with trap in the early '80s, added skeet a few years later, and sporting clays whenever I can for the pure fun factor.

I shoot registered trap and skeet love the pressure of big events, but sporting is my no stress go to just me, the gun, and whatever crazy presentation they throw.

All three keep it fresh: trap for rhythm, skeet for speed/crossers, sporting for real world variety. Never get bored.

You're not alone plenty of us chase all three. Keeps the skills sharp and the weekends full! What's your favorite of the bunch?

At 73 I have downsized to trap. Too much walking in sporting clays, skeet is more of a social event and I have 4 trap clubs within 30 miles.

My order is trap, skeet then sporting. I have so many places to go in my area, I like to shoot different sporting courses and then have a nice lunch.
I have plans for the Grand American again this year...I enjoy a few big shoots a year.
