I found some locally but not familiar with it for 12ga 1 oz loads. A lot of loads listed is pressure an uncomfortable issue at the faster velocities? thx
If you call Hodgdon and ask them, they will tell you that Titewad and Nitro 100 NF are now the very same powder. And a look at the data on Hodgdon's reloading site confirms this.
I really like titewad. Clean and low charge weights. Pressure ain’t the prob with 1oz. That 17gr is is a good load in my AA’s.
For 12ga 1 oz loads, pressure can be a concern at higher velocities, depending on the load and powder.
I like it. Meters very consistently. Clean burning. I use it for 1 oz loads. It does pretty well for 7/8 oz loads but I've gone to AAlite for that now. It is very dense and that is a help with AA's. Remington's crimp is a little dished but shoots just fine. All 12 Ga of course.
I highly recommend "TightGroup" myself (Not TiteWad). You can use it in almost every load I do in both handgun & shotgun., Its a fast brisk "Boom" and works very good in my 12ga Win AA hulls, 1-1/8 oz, 7.5, WAA12 Wads, Win209 Primers. Only issue is its such a small amount of powder I'm concerned about the wad seating down far enough to be against the powder and then the stack height being low ? I believe the last time I used it I had to put a wad filler in there somewhere. I mostly reload with 700x these days, same set up
