**Silver Seitz Wood Set For Sale** SOLD

Great Condition Phil Simms stock/forearm set with matching numbers (#434 "Hi Rib"). Nicely figured wood that's consistent through both sides of the stock, as it appears to have a mirror image from one side to another. The forearm matches well, and the checkering is in excellent shape with the familiar Seitz pattern. I purchased this wood set for a project but decided to go a different route. Never installed by me.

The measurements are on the attached "Stock Measurement Sheet PDF" and based off a 80/20 fixed rib, with the soft comb in the down position. The stock has a Jones-style adjustable butt plate and a straight recoil pad. It comes with a stock bolt as well. It is missing the customary "Silver Seitz" emblem in the grip cap, which was fine with me as I was going to add a grip cap extension, due to my large hands. LOP is 14-1/8" to the end of the pad, with a small right-hand palm swell, and 3/8-1/2" of toe out for a right-handed shooter.

There are just a couple of very fine/light scratches in the stock finish. The only "cracks" are (2) very small shrinkage cracks inside the forearm inletting, near the rear screw insert. They really don't show up very well in the photos, but I wanted to mention them. I feel the wood is VERY sound, and if there's any concern in this area you could have the forearm iron glass bedded for peace of mind (or get Phil's opinion too?). I wasn't worried about them.
