    RIP Keith, very nice man.

Shooter's, watch your weight. Exercise and diet at our age is mandatory for good health

The real problem is the lifestyle of the itinerant shooters, who travel a lot-- fast food, sleeping in campers and not having a regular physician close by- its a shame but we all see young shooters who are morbidly over weight--someone deserves a good old fashioned Tom McAnn suppository, be it from family or friends

635G, You are correct about over weight shooters. Weight kills, I at one time weighed 305lbs. Could not loose and maintain, so I had a bypass operation. have maintained 185 to 190 for the last 15+ yrs. am now 83 yrs. young. My DR. told me I saved my own life. Roger C.

I saw him walking at several different shoots of a evening that I attended as I was running when he was getting his steps in.
So he was trying to get his exercise as he traveled. He would always comment as we passed. I always thought he was nice even if he told me I was crazy

I talked to him at the Grand and he looked and acted really healthy. Condolences to his family and his trapshooting family will sorely miss him too.

I shot with him at Wisconsin state shoot with our group from Michigan and he seemed fine. I just shot last week at the Michigan Fall Team Shoot and his viewing was during that time and it cast a little bit of a cloud over it to say the least. additionally, I was told he was duck or goose hunting at the time?, so if it is true , he was doing what he loved.

Lastly, his team for the team shoot shot it with his post empty as a tribute to the great shooter that he was.

He will be missed by all shooters that he had met over the years. Does anyone know his age ?

Its been 3 years since Keith passed and his memory is still strong at the homegrounds in Mason. There has not been an effort to rename Michigan Fall Team Shoot's Event 7 "Keith Heeg Memorial Championship Singles".
