Entries for the SCTP National Tournament is over 5400. The registration ends July 1.

That statement meant something in 1995. Not much now.

Based on what I'm seeing on the Shot5 website I'm guessing the 5400 number is for all events throughout the week. The 16yd trap looks to have room for about 1800 at this time.

A good business plan can do a lot for any business. Our ATA officials do not seem to understand this. That is a darn shame. Roger C.

The largest skeet tournament held in the U.S. this year may be at the SCTP shoot.

I didn't see that there were two sets of dates for the 16yd trap.

If I counted right, there are approx 475 squads assigned on Shot5. Most are full, some are partial and some are empty. I would guess the number to be closer to 2300 at this time.

It's very possible that there are over 2500 kids registered for all the events.

Looks like a little over 900 skeet shooters and 900 SC shooters.

Many kids shoot skeet, sporting and trap so you can't count each event numbers in the total.
Once registration is closed the total numbers for each event will be posted and total number of actual participants will be posted.
There will be a running total of athletes from each team, each state, each event.
The system is state of the art. You will be able to follow each event leaders, overall or by classification almost as if you were actually there.
Once score sheets leave the field and are turned in within minutes they will be posted and available.

The 200 singles event by my count earlier this afternoon is just over 1900.
American Skeet has about 225 entrants
    Sporting has about 385 entrants

    100 entrants for Bunker
    260 for Skeet doubles

Even though a team has blocked a time slot, entrants are not counted until the athlete's SCTP number and name is in the slot so those slots are not included in my total.

The having to make a move to an alternate spot and make needed changes (lodging etc) probably has some impact on the attendance ... Still reasonably respectable, my hats off to all involved and hope you all have a great gathering ... It will be interesting to see and follow some of the scores ... Congratulations to all ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

I believe your Skeet and Sporting numbers may be a little off

    Skeet - 877
    Sporting - 904

Roger, I got about the same as you but I didn't actually count them all, but did consider team reserved squads as full. I think Barnett was only counting those where there were actually shooters assigned. When it all gets done I do think it will be closer to the numbers you and I posted.
