F/S: Remington 870 Straight Trap Stock

Remington 870 straight trap stock. This is actually is from one of the slug guns, but has the same basic dimensions as the straight trap stocks.

Walnut, cut checkering, matte finish, OEM brown rubber recoil pad. Stock is very lightly used.

An attempt was made to bore out the original 3/8" stock bolt hole to 5/8" so this could be used on a 1100. Unfortunately the factory original stock bolt hole was slightly off-axis, and the boring bit followed the original hole, which means the 5/8" hole is slightly off-axis as well and won't allow the 1100 flat washer, lock washer, and action tube nut to be installed. Of course, for the past 20-30+ years, Remington has used a 5/8" hole on ALL of their stocks, so in practice this makes ZERO difference when installed on a 870, it just can't be made to work on an 1100/1187. You will need to use the current 10 1/4" 870 stock bolt.

This will fit 12ga, 16ga, and full frame 20ga guns. It will also work on a Sportsman 58 and 878.
