President Trump in Vandalia, Ohio Not Sparta, Ill Last night

President Trump knows that the place to be is Vandalia, Ohio and not Sparta, Illinois. Too bad the ATA BOD and HOF aren't as smart. I think Brandon was in Sparta last night but no one showed up.

 

Illinois is a Democrat/Liberal Cesspool, waste of time for a Conservative to campaign here. Most people in Illinois must be dumb as a box of rocks otherwise why do they (we) continue to elect Democrats! I am not in general bashing Illinois. They continually bitch about the way things are and then put Dem signs in their yard. I happen to live here too and see it everyday. Too damn old to move but I, I guess, too young to die based on my last med exam - lol.

My wife has been talking about moving out of this demorat state for years due to the weather. It never really bothered me, so I just brushed it off.

NOW? I told her to start looking for a place in FL.

 

I am in the same boat Flyers. My wife has been pushing hard for 3 years to move to Missouri. Both of my kids moved to Missouri and I have no relatives here to speak of so no real reason to stay-------- except I am 75 and hate moving! Illinois really sucks politically.

Missouri is my favorite state. I don't know why any concervitive would live in a commie state. I liked the eastern shore of Maryland very much when I lived there. Great Waterfowl and deer hunting, but shitty ass liberal schools so I came back to Ohio when my kids were little.

Ohio is very red today. It is much more Republican than when I moved back here in 1993.

Well Bud, not everyone can move. It's easier when you are younger. When your entire family lives within driving distance it's a lot tougher to say goodbye and move thousands of miles away.
All of ours are grown now and have families of their own, so it won't be so hard for us, but for others there is no choice. I would still miss the hell out of seeing the grandkids.
