Sparta Campsite and Vendor Future

    Obviously at this point everything is a rumor but I've been told the ATA plan if they get to stay is to raise campsite fees and vendor fees. Currently, I believe I paid over 4 grand for ten years. Now they want to raise to 625 per year and hit the vendors with a 15% increase. Do you shoot the current supporters or try to find ways to increase participation. I have already decided not to renew but that has to do with age. I feel if this is true it will be a big mistake, driving more shooters away.

    News is pink slips for employees there. You cant raise prices for a closed facility.

    The big suckers were the taxpayers in the State of Illinois. They subsidized shooting for millionaires with increased debt.

    The membership paid the price with 20,000 saying adios.
