I had a love/hate relationship with Remington 1100 for a very long time. I liked they way they looked but I could not shoot good (skeet) scores with them as I did with my Beretta 390s. However, I was shooting trap with a friend he was shooting the 1100 Competition model just like your gun. He ran a 100. He also shoots skeet with it. Now granted he was a better shooter than me but I liked the look and feel of the gun. It just so happened that I had a standard weight 20ga 1100 (the early one that was built on a 12ga frame) So I ordered a competition stock set from Remington installed on my 20ga. It is my favorite skeet gun. I have attached a photo of the gun so you can see what I am describing. Also, you can go to Skeeter's Corner and see more photos. It is listed as my latest skeet project. I no longer shoot registered targets but do shoot both trap and skeet for fun.
