    I have an MX Double release trigger done by Phillips and it is bottom first. The trigger guarg and blade are Gold plated. No ser # on trigger .

    you can only anodize Aluminum, not steel , might be another type of coating. Nice looking trigger !!

    I had one done and bought one of Phillips he did to sell and both were Gold Nitrated "not Plated", I believe if you check with Phillips you will find it's nitrated. Hope that helps clear up some confusion... Don
