Krieghoff custom stock

I 've been thinking about a custom made stock made at Krieghoff in Pa. Looking to get some feedback or comments from anybody that experienced this. If you would like to comment please send me a message. thanks

 

I’ve had 2 made at Ottsville and 2 of my squadmates have as well. Best in the business. Not the cheapest but the quality and attention to detail is amazing. Their primary stock maker Maik (pronounced like Mike) is for my money the best stock maker you’ll ever find. They will let you use your own wood assuming it passes their inspection process. PM me if you would like more details but the experience was heads and tails better than the other place that starts with a W who will never get another dime from me.

 

I have had Krieghoff custom stocks before and they are very good quality but pricey. I recommend getting a Wenig custom stock and getting it fitted to you. They are just the best. I have them on all 3 guns I own and couldn't be happier.

 

If you know your measurements or can get someone to help you determine them, you can order a stock from Manuel Ricardo. They are in Portugal but working with them was easy. I had a set done for my Beretta 692 x-trap, and about to get a set for my K gun. Took a month and the price was half what it would cost here. They send pics of blanks. Make it, finish it and FedEx it Google the name, they also have a bunch of content on Facebook

 

Chris Vendel is as good making a custom stock for any type gun . I've seen several of his finished stocks

 

S&S in Polson Montana make great stocks.

 

I have a Krieghoff made stock and I can only praise them with the work they did.

I also have had a Wenig stock and I would never get another from them.

I had Maik make a custom stock for my K80 about 4 years ago. I brought my own wood that I purchased at Calico and we worked the whole day getting it sized and fitted. Turned out beautiful. I've moved on from the K80 but still kept the stock.
