Steel rimmed shells bad for your gun

I am always hearing about guys at the club bitching that the cheap shells they are reloading have steel rims. Ruining their expensive guns they say.

Trapshooters have to be the cheapest sobs in the world. Reloading cheap steel rims. Then complaining about the damage.

One day they'll need a ring job just like in an old Chevy.

I have had two guns with well over 100,000 rounds through them, almost all steel. No issues. My new one has around 25,000, same story, with no issues.

Some do some don't. Only way to find out is when it's yours.

Let me see if I understand this correctly. Some shooters voice complaints about the steel based shells they are reloading. They claim they are harming their guns. I might have a tendency to ask some questions.

Why do you use them? Were do you get them? What makes reloaded steel based hulls worse than new steel based hulls? Hulls with bases made from brass are still available as new shells and once fired hulls. Did you know that?

Those kinds of inquiries will be better received than other kinds of questions and comments! Avoid the use of commands!

Are you dumpster diving again? Why put in your gun what you find in the trash? Where do you find your food? Hum the tune from the Twilight Zone. I am sure you can find something else to complain about other than your own reloads. Stop/quit/refrain from such conduct! It is not logical!

Or...:.you could smile; walk on by and find a better conversation.

While I've heard a great deal about steel-based hulls sticking in gun's chambers, I've not heard about them damaging said guns.
