I have a early style precision fit stock.. was it common NOT to have a recoil system on these??? it doesn't depress like the new ones.... so ???

one of the reasons why I know its a old model it has the nicer pistol grip on it.

I have what I believe to be a first generation PFS, bought over twenty years ago.
It has the recoil reducer, as I thought they all did.
I assume yours is just tightened all the way down, or is rusted tight....

send it back. I sent two older models back, worked like new when I got them back. Great people to deal with.

Do not mess with it, send it back to them, they are great to deal with and know their chit when it comes to those stocks ... I know more than one guy who had washers all over the place and a stupid look on their face ... WPT ... (YAC) ...
