Mississippi Boycotting Southern Shoots Again?

Are Mississippi shooters boycotting the southern shoots? Their delegate complained yardage was too hard to come by. Mississippi's delegate then banded with some other non-shooting states to get easy yardage. Since then Mississippi has sent even fewer shooters to the southern shoots.

    Why?

The easier yardage game was supposed to be the answer to the ATA and Mississippi's attendance.

    So how is that working?

What's even worse is a bunch of ding bat clueless delegates voted affirmatively to change the rule. Yup, registered shoot attendance has grown by leaps and bounds since the rule was changed except the Southern Grand was down 10% this year. Well, I did stop in at a registered shoot yesterday and attendance was abysmal at best as they barely fielded less than three squads. It sure seemed no one wanted a yardage increase for an 85/100.

Boycott-no way. A whopping 7 Miss. shooters made the long excursion to the Southern Grand in FL crossing several states. Unfortunately, it's the same number that made a somewhat lengthier journey from the Atlantic Province. Even worse, it appears none got any yardage increases. It's obvious the yardage tables need revisiting soon-maybe 10 shooters for 1/2 yd. That should fix things!
